Music boxes are a traditional, classic baby item. Music boxes have a mechanical mechanism consisting of a metal cylinder, springs, and small gears, encased in a waterproof plastic casing. They are not electronic/digital recordings, and this is precisely what makes a classic music box so appealing, as millions of children have grown up with it to this day. Therefore, it's perfectly normal that not every melody plays at the same speed or slowness, and that there may be minor background noises. Your child will thank you for growing up with a traditional music box without electronics. Please keep in mind that a music box is not meant to be pressed against a child's ear, or for the child to sleep or fall asleep with their head on it. Rather, they are simply hung on the wall, above or on the crib. They can also be placed nicely on the bedside table.
